 The Habitat For Humanity program is a program which requires active participation in the

construction of your own home.  The homes are not free, however they are made much more

 affordable by your own "sweat-equity" in the construction process, and the dedication of

 dozens of caring volunteers who will be working side by side with you building a decent,

 affordable home you can be proud of. 

If swinging a hammer, painting, sawing lumber or other physical activities sound exciting, then

 this program may be right for you. You are literally building your own home. Yes it is hard

 work, however you will have a lifetime of enjoyment in the fact that you with the help of a

 family of friends and neighbors you have never met made the dream of home ownership into

 reality.

We will select "partner families" to become Habitat Homeowners. Partner families are

 selected based on their:

-level of need.

-Willingness to become partners in the program

-Ability to repay the no-profit, no-interest loan. This will probably require someone in your

  family to have full-time employment in order to repay the loan.

Habitat for Humanity follows a non discriminatory policy of family selection. Neither race nor

 religion is a factor in choosing partner families.

So, if you are not afraid to get "sweaty," and get a few blisters, or slivers then let's get to work!
